Only approved courses can be taken at approved training centres.\nIf you are doing your first Driver CPC, you will need to have the DQC before you can drive on a professional basis.\nFailure to have this will mean that you will be driving illegally with a fine likely to be up to £1000.\nN.B. You cannot undertake more than 35 hours in a 5 year period.\nDuring the day you will cover:\n\nBest practice with regards to Health & Safety in the workplace with regard to manual handling techniques and safety\nLooking at risk assessments, Site PPE. For candidates to understand different site layouts for safety.\nDiscussion on any changes with regard to driver/CPC licensing.\nUnderstanding of your driving licence\nTo understand how driving safely and fuel efficiently on a daily basis protects not only your licence.\nTo include understanding of different braking systems, New Technology within the PCV and LGV vehicles.\nTo understand how the different seasons have an effect on driving\n\n\n
